"The Dark Knight" Were you sold?

So did you get caught up in the hype? Did you rush to the theaters? Did you beat the traffic? Did you get a ticket or a seat?
Well the final tally is $158.3 million so there are quiet a few people that got caught up in the hype, and I must admit I was one of the few... lol!

The movie was true to the comic, though I had a few issues with it:

1. I hated Batmans voice
2. What happened to his back up Bat mobile?
3. What was up with that bike?
4. Why was it sooooo long?

Though I have my issues with it I must say that I was very entertained and though RIP Heath I thought that this was a great role for him, I guess I won't be remembering his back bending performance in "Broke Back" Smiling now that I this on the mind...

The Dark Knight is a 2008 American superhero film co-written and directed by Christopher Nolan. Based on the DC Comics character Batman, the film is a sequel to Batman Begins (2005). Christian Bale reprises the lead role. Batman's primary conflicts in the film include his fight against his arch-nemesis the Joker (Heath Ledger) and his strained friendship with district attorney Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart).

I have to agree. I thought the movie was waaaay too long. It was okay, but not amazing, and I was ready for it to end already.

I thought I was the only one who felt that way. I started getting fidgety in the movie theater.... My sis was sleep on my shoulder lol! But even though it was SUPER long Heath (RIP}) did an award winning job! Loved him in that movie! Great role for him.

I thought it was great. Yes the movie was long but for me the time went by so quickly because the movie was so good. Heath was AMAZING. I also found Batman's voice annoying. I spent the whole movie staring at his lips every time he talked.

I'm off to see it in IMAX tonite...late. The only tickets left on Friday AM when I got paid and could order them. Sad Sounds like it's gonna be a REALLY late nite. I didn't know it was super long.

to the kaza, suga and aoi:

i had a hard time with it dragging on, at one point i was thinking ok already! though i did love heath's performance.... he played it great, all that tongue movement and swallowing his own spit, too funny!

batman's voice very annoying and i too had to stare at his lips, that i was not too upset about, lol! Eye-wink

i thought this movie was amazing. i did not think it was too long at all. the third time i saw it, i thought it was a bit lengthy, but the first time, i never looked at my watch once. i'm also a huge nerd but man this movie blew my mind away. poor Heath. i guess this was the perfect role for his career to end on. i hope he gets an oscar. his family deserves it.
